Through this work we learn to quiet the mind enough to feel what has been waiting beneath the surface. With compassion and gentleness we explore the root of limiting beliefs, unprocessed emotions, and the looping stories that keep us stuck.
Healing the parts that were never given the space
The focus becomes less about what happened and more about what didn’t happen— the needs that were unmet, the emotions that couldn’t be expressed, and parts of yourself that learned it wasn’t safe to be fully seen. Together we learn to create the inner strength to express, nurture, and meet yourself in the present moment allowing patterns to soften and release.

The mind has it’s place, but lasting healing happens through the body. Not everything needs to be intellectualized, it simply just wants to be felt. Embodiment offers a body— centric path to healing for living a life with more creativity, play, and joy.

What to expect
Expect to move your body! Rooted in yogic philosophy, ancestral wisdom, and somatic practices, each session invites you into deeper relationship with yourself. Through movement, breath, vocal toning, visualization, artistic expression, and mindfulness, we open the capacity for emotions and old stories to take shape so they can be acknowledged, expressed, and integrated.
This is more than a typical coaching program, this is an initiation into a new way of being. Prepare to break free from ego’s grip, feel with razor-sharp clarity, learn to stay unshakable amidst chaos, and radiate a peacefulness so bright it changes every room you enter.
Programs of 4—12 weeks of 1:1 intimate sessions plus continued support and accountability throughout.

Whether you sign up for the 4, 6, or 8 week program, we will meet once a week throughout the program. Each session lasts between 45 minutes and one hour, but please allow for the full hour when scheduling.

While a single session can create positive shifts, it often only scratches the surface. Over time, old habits can creep back. Committing to a program offers deeper, lasting transformation. True change takes time and consistency, and a structured program provides the support you need every step of the way.

Depending on your location and preference, sessions are held virtually via Zoom or in person in Portland, Oregon. Sessions will be tailored to the theme set at the beginning and adapt as we peel back the layers. After you briefly share what is coming up for you at the moment, what’s going well, and what challenges you are facing, we will move through a journey of creative expression. At the end of each session, you will have an actionable step or exercise to practice to keep you accountable and on this path.

Therapy provides a reflective environment to delve into past experiences, childhood dynamics, and the underlying reasons behind behaviors and narratives. In contrast, embodiment coaching emphasizes fully embracing the present moment through the body’s full expression, bypassing the mental chatter to foster pure acceptance, processing, and release. Unlike traditional talk therapy, Empowered Living Coaching seeks to address the root cause of issues and creates a cellular shift within the physical body. It's not about fixing or advising, but rather about bearing witness and creating space for emotions to organically move through. Both therapy and coaching offer distinct benefits, making neither superior to the other, just different in approach.

1. Emote. Identifying what emotion, feeling or sensation is present and taking a moment to notice how and where you feel it.
2. Embody. Letting it move you and releasing it through your body.
3. Express. Sounding out its vibration. What message does the emotion have for you in order to release it from the body? That can involve but not limited to vocal toning, yelling, speech, crying, movement, drawing.

No, you don’t have to share anything you’re not comfortable with. Our focus is less on the details of what happened or why and more on what didn’t happen. We tune into the feeling and how it’s held in the body. Getting lost in the storyline and trying the make sense of it keeps us in the mind— true healing happens in the body.
Meet your guide, Dana
Coaching came into my life during a season of heartbreak, uncertainty, and old patterns that blocked me from my true authentic expression.
I discovered that healing didn’t always require understanding every detail of what happened. Often, it meant learning how to stay present with what my body was holding and offering myself the compassion and acceptance I had long been seeking outside of myself.
I know what it’s like to have life unexpectedly pull the rug out from under you, where the emotions feel to big to handle you just feel numb. Believe it or not, some of the hardest things in life can end up being the best things that ever happened for us.
What got me through is the willingness to stay fully open, and feel it all. I cried until I laughed. Raged until I danced. Screamed until I sighed as the walls inside broke down. The walls that kept me from speaking my truth, setting boundaries, and allowing myself to be heard even when my voice shakes.
As I continue to feel and embrace all of life, that brings me here today to support women in reconnecting with their bodies inner wisdom so they can move through life with greater trust, resilience, and freedom.
